Total Care Team  is currently taking referrals for Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology Applications , Equipment Trials  and Report Writing.

Stephanie comes to Total Care Team with over 35 years experience, is caring and compassionate and builds effective communication with everyone she meets.

 

Stephanie has a well established network of peers , teachers & therapists enabling her to coordinate  & recommend interventions to best meet & achieve participants goals around skills development & capacity building in daily life .

Stephanie is able to assist NDIS  & Aged Care participants with Functional Capacity Assessments , reports and Assistive Technology Applications. Stephanie has capacity to complete home visits across South West Victoria during School holidays.  , and will maintain involvement during school term through emails or phone etc.

Amanda Preece

Amanda Preece is a Registered Midwife, Division 1 Nurse, and NDIS Allied Health Therapy Assistant with over 15 years of diverse clinical and community‑based experience across Victoria.

 

She has built her career on delivering safe, evidence‑based, person‑centred care in high‑acuity hospital settings, specialised paediatrics, maternity services, and community support roles.

With a background spanning South West Healthcare, Barwon Health, the Royal Children’s Hospital, and Austin Health, Amanda brings strong clinical judgement, exceptional communication skills, and a calm, compassionate presence to every client and family she supports. Her work now extends into community nursing and allied health assistance, where she collaborates closely with therapists to enhance client independence, functional capacity, and wellbeing.

Alongside her clinical practice, Amanda co-directs a family business, managing operations, compliance, payroll, and stakeholder communication—reflecting her adaptability, leadership, and organisational strength. She is fully credentialed with AHPRA, holds current First Aid/CPR and Working With Children certifications, and maintains a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.

Amanda is known for her empathy, reliability, and ability to build trust quickly, making her a valued support worker, clinician, and advocate for individuals and families across the lifespan.

Jenny Lo Ricco

I am delighted to announce that Jenny Lo Ricco has joined us as a Counsellor and is now available to accept referrals.

 

Jenny brings a strong foundation of qualifications to the role, including a Certificate IV in Mental Health, Diploma of Counselling, Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, and a Certificate IV in Community Services.

 

Her counselling scope is broad, spanning grief counselling through to anxiety-based diagnoses. Jenny recognises that trauma is intertwined with most lived experiences — particularly in the context of loss and difficulties in everyday functioning — and brings a trauma-informed lens to her practice. She also has experience working within the AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) space.

 

Jenny is registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Mental Health Professionals Network (MHPN).

Kath has over 36 years in the health, aged, disability and community care industries, and is passionate about what she does to make a difference in the local  Community. Kath also has both lived experience as a mother and professionally with physical and intellectual disabilities, neurodivergence, and mental illnesses.  That coupled with 26 years' aged care and health education experience, her ability to connect with recipients and clients allows them to feel comfortable and well supported in her care.  

Having worked predominantly in the South West region of Victoria Kath is familiar with our service network and remains committed to ongoing professional development.

As a Registered Nurse specializing in community-based care and neurological health—particularly Parkinson's disease—she understands that living your best life is about more than managing conditions; it's about connection, independence, and dignity. Gendy's approach is simple yet powerful: she listens, she understands, and she connects you with the right support to achieve your NDIS goals. Whether you're navigating a new diagnosis, seeking greater independence, or looking for ways to enhance your wellbeing, Gendy is here to empower you every step of the way. Qualifications & Expertise Bachelor of Nursing ,Nurse Immuniser, Accreditation Parkinson Project ,MOOC and ongoing specialized education.  Extensive experience in general practice and neurological disorder management​. Sussanne is Founder and Lead Coordinator  of Total Care Team .

Sussanne has been happily married for the past 43 years and has 5 adult children and 9 Grandchildren.

 

Sussanne  graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honors) from Monash University in 1983. Sussanne has worked in various roles which include: Child Protection; Intellectual Disability ; Foster Care ;  Education Dept Student Services & Carer Respite and Support  before moving into a role as Regional Coordinator with Multiple Sclerosis Victoria for 29 years. This role  included working with Neurological conditions eg Huntington’s Disease, Muscular Dystrophy & Motor Neuron Disease. Other part time roles Sussanne has worked in have included:  Carer Respite;  Rehabilitation; Senior Social Worker Warrnambool Hospital, Barwon Health Carer Support, Grief Counselling & Sessional Teaching. 

 

Sussanne Pyers was co-founder of Pyerscarlin Consultants until starting Total Care Team.

 It was from this vast and varied experience and knowledge base that led Sussanne to support those transitioning to the NDIS at the commencement of NDIS rollout in South West Victoria on 1st October 2017 .

 

Sussanne’s extensive knowledge and experience form the foundations of the quality support provided to Total Care Team NDIS Participants.  Sussanne follows the principle that all interactions and supports must reflect participant’s own decisions & choice ,ensuring participants have  control of their NDIS journey.

Sussanne not only supports Participants already accessing the NDIS yet can support those navigating the NDIS for the first time .
